This DC to DC Charger is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a dual battery system that has all the features but without a hefty price tag. The system is designed to prioritize solar energy, reducing the load on your engine and ensuring efficient use of available power. Additionally, the automatic ignition detection feature isolates the starting battery when the engine is off, preventing unwanted discharge. The charger is fully automatic and easy to use, and the microprocessor-controlled circuit keeps your battery in optimal condition. It is capable of switching between six different charging modes: Qualification, Recondition, Bulk, Absorption, Check, and Maintenance. The heavy-duty Aluminium casing is durable and has a mounting bracket built in, along with a front panel with charge status LEDs and a push button to select between Lead acid, AGM, Calcium, GEL, or LiFePO4 batteries. It is also equipped with multiple safety protections, including overcharge, short circuit, over temperature, reverse polarity, thermal overload, and solar input overload. The charger is compatible with solar panels which have an open circuit voltage of 16 to 25V.
