Free Wheeling - The Manual Outboard

Why didn’t they think of this before? The “Free Wheeling” propeller drive consists of an ‘S’-shaped frame with a crank on one end and a large, unbreakable 340mm dia rigid nylon prop on the other. You simply clamp the frame to your transom. The design of the frame ensures that the prop is well underwater and the crank falls into your hand when you sit on the transom bench of your tinny, fibreglass dingy or rubber duck.

It is ideal to propel you from a jetty out to your mooring or other shortish trips. It saves lugging a heavy outboard. It is also ideal for lake/enclosed waterway fishing. Any reasonably fit person should be able to operate it for 10 minutes at a time. The harder you wind, the faster it goes.

The product has corrosion resistance in that prop shaft-clamp etc are all stainless steel. A simple hose-off with fresh water will suffice for cleaning.

We emphasise that this product is not an aquatic toy. It should last a lifetime with careful use.
