The SeaTalkng installation requires a backbone cable that extends throughout the length of the vessel, with individual devices connecting via spur cables to T-pieces on the backbone. This design allows the backbone to provide both data and power to connected devices. To ensure seamless integration with NG or NMEA 2000 devices, it's recommended that the backbone cable be sized to reach all possible installation locations. When needed, two backbone cables can be easily extended with the A06030 backbone extender.
